A Cosy Studio Visit

On the weekend I had a wonderful group of art enthusiasts come to visit me at my little studio.

It was a delightful morning chatting with the group, all 12 of us snug inside my little country studio as the rain fell outside. I’m used to such a solitary life of working in the studio, so having a group of friendly faces pay me a visit was such a treat.

Showing the group around, we discussed many topics from studio to plein air practice, the journey to create work, what mediums I use in my work, Reiki (what is it and why it’s an important part of my practice). Plus, we chatted about the realities of juggling family life, business, and social life (when there’s time!)

After we said our goodbyes, I was humbled to receive feedback from one of the group leaders and writer, Susannah, who said that the visit to my studio was one of the highlights of the whole tour. Shucks, thanks Susannah, what a magic compliment! It was such an enjoyable morning.

I adore having art-loving people pop into the studio, so please get in touch with me via the website or if you would like to arrange a gallery tour and artist talk for your next group outing.

Alternatively, check out Asa Cultural Tours https://www.asatours.com.au/ for more information on their organised group tours.

Yours in art,

Bec xoxo
